Welcome Assembly
All students will meet together in the gym or field to discuss what will be going on over the next few days. They will be introduced to their leaders and assigned a country and army to join. Then sent off to their classrooms. |

Each class will come together with what they did the previous evening in preparation for their final performance.

Introduction to their Country
Each group’s leader will introduce them to their country. They will explain about the language they speak, the culture, and listen to the National Anthem which all students will try to learn. |
Group Compitition I
Throughout the day each team will go out to play a game of capture the flag against another team. It could be any time during the day. Classes must be adjusted by the class leaders. The round limits are 30 minutes. |
Country Crafts
Most countries also have special crafts that they teach their children to make during festivals, or just for fun. The students will be taught to make one of these crafts from their country |

Flag Making
Each Army will have to create a cloth flag that will be used in the Capture the flag competition (see day 2)

Group Compitition II
The teams after their Capture the flag game will then play steal the bacon. The game will require communication skills from the students and their leaders.

Reading & Acting
Each team leader will pick a famous/traditional reading/novel from the country. Students read it together and act the story out
|

Discuss Final Performance and Practice
Each group will have a 5 minute performance where they will perform on the last day. During this hour a decision will be made as to what will be done. The performance can be singing, acting, or a presentation of things. The topic will be based on the country they have been
put into. |

Country Customs
The countries customs, even funny ones will be explained. The students will then draw pictures of their favorite customs. |
Dance
Many cultures have traditional dances. Those dances will be learned and practiced. Research can be done online. |

Country Traditional Games
A country’s games are played by children and are always fun and interesting. The leaders will teach a few different games and then the students will play them.

Festival Celebration
Students will be taught about traditional ceremonies from the countries they are from. They will learn about the food eaten, activities done and clothes that are worn on these special occasions.

Performance and Award Ceremony
This is the time when all the groups come together and show what they have been working on over the past few days. The awards for the capture the flag winners will also be given. |

Writing
After each day the students will sit down for a quiet writing time where they can write their thoughts and feelings of the day. They will be guided by the leaders if they need inspiration. |
Writing
After the ceremony each student will go back to their classroom and write about the final day of the camp. They will then turn all three writings into their Leaders. |
