本學年度活動，與台灣國際青少年學會合作辦理，參加學校學生為竹圍高中國、高中部學生，及正德國中學生，名額限制100名，三天營隊費用原為每名學生1,950元，因有其他計畫補助經費，每名學生優惠價只收1,500元。報名期間104/04/22~4/28，請把握難得的機會!
  各位家長您好
   全球化是二十一世紀的主要潮流，教育國際化也成為各國推動教育革新的重點。教育部推動中等學校國際交流，強化我中學生國際競爭力，使我學子具備國際視野與跨文化溝通能力，成為二十一世紀之世界公民。透過教育國際化的推動，讓中學生接觸不同文化，有機會與外國人士接觸，學習他國語言、彼此學習關懷、包容，是一個十分難得的學習及成長機會。
   礙於時間與空間因素，並非每位學生都有機會出國遊學，有鑑於此，竹圍高中與台灣國際青少年交流協會合作，將於104年7月份辦理「西方文化體驗夏令營活動」，讓竹圍的孩子透過3天的一系列活動規劃，與外國大學生進行全英文交流，得以增進語言能力、開拓國際視野、培養國際宏觀思維，並達成多元且快樂學習的教育目的。   

• 活動目標：

(一)激發學生英文學習動機、培養學生英文聽說語感
        (二)加強學生團隊合作能力、奠定學生英文學習方向
 

• 活動日期：104年7月16日(星期四)至7月18日(星期六)，不住宿。
• 活動地點 : 竹圍高中校區
• 招收對象 : 竹圍高中高中、國中部及正德國中學生
• 招收名額：限100人，100人以下此夏令營活動恕無法辦理。(人數超過時以高年級優先錄取)， 每20名學生為一組，每組一名美籍領隊。
• 活動費用：
• 每名學生1,950元(優惠價只須1,500元)。
  費用包含：師資、活動設計、活動材料費、英文日記編輯費、膳食費（午餐）等。

8:00-9:00	Welcome Assembly （歡迎會） All students will meet together in the gym or field to discuss what will be going on over the next few days. They will be introduced to their leaders and assigned a country and army to join. Then sent off to their classrooms. 所有參與的學生將在活動中心或操場相見歡，討論接下來３天的活動流程，介紹各組的領隊，並分派各組代表國家，之後，帶回各組的教室。	Update Performance （修正表演內容） Each class will come together with what they did the previous evening in preparation for their final performance.           每班學生一起討論前一天所準備的最後表演的內容。	Final Update of Performance （表演內容最後修正） Each class will come together again with what they did the previous evening in preparation for their final performance.   每班學生再度更新前晚所準備最後表演的內容。
9:10-10:00	Introduction to their Country（國家介紹） Each of the group’s leaders will introduce them to their country, culture, National Anthem. (The groups will sing it later).   每一組的組長將介紹組員他們的國家、文化及國歌。（之後每一組將演唱代表國家的國歌）	Open Space for Capture the Flag I （國旗爭奪戰Ｉ） Throughout the day each team will go out to play a game of capture the flag against another team. It could be any time during the day. Classes must be adjusted by the class leaders. The round limits are 30 minutes. 一整天活動當中，每一組將與其他組別對抗進行掠奪國旗的遊戲。這個遊戲任何時間都可能進行，組長得以調整課程流程。每一回合的時間限制為80分鐘。	Capture the Flag and Group game II Finals (國旗爭奪戰及團體競賽-決賽) All groups will join and watch the final competition between the winning groups.         所有組別將參加並觀賞優勝隊伍的決賽。
10:10- 11:00	Flag Making （國旗製作） Each Army will have to create a cloth flag that will be used in the Capture the flag competition (see day 2) 每一隊需創作一面布製國旗，於之後國旗爭奪賽時使用（見第２天活動內容）

11:10- 12:00	Discuss Final Performance and Practice （討論最後表演與練習） Each group will have a 5 minute performance where they will perform on the last day. During this hour a decision will be made as to what will be done. The performance can be singing, acting, or a presentation of things. The topic will be based on the country they have been put into. 每組在活動最後一天將會有一段5分鐘表演。這一段活動時間各組需共同討論，決定表演內容及方式。表演內容可以是唱歌、戲劇表演或者其他呈現方式。表演主題需以各組分配的國家為基礎。	Culinary Arts (烹飪藝術) Food is important and special in every nation. Each class will be given a chance to learn about these foods and even get to make some. For convenience we will be making class leaders prepare a food that does not require open flame cooking. 各國的食物都很重要且獨一無二的，各組將有機會認識各國美食並親自製作。為了安全與方便起見，各組組長將準備一道「不開火」美食，讓同學們體驗。	Country Crafts (各國手工藝品) Most countries also have special crafts that they teach their children to make during festivals, or just for fun. The students will be taught to make one of these crafts from their country 大部分的國家都會為了慶典需要或只是純粹好玩，教孩子製作一些特殊的手工藝品。參加活動的同學將有機會學習製作來自各國的手工藝品。

13:00- 13:50	Country Customs （各國習俗） The countries customs, even funny ones will be explained. The students will then draw pictures of their favorite customs. 國家的習俗，包括一些很有趣國家習俗也會介紹。之後，學生將他們最喜歡的習俗畫出來。	Dance (舞蹈) Many cultures have traditional dances. Those dances will be learned and practiced. Research can be done online. 許多文化都會以傳統舞蹈為特色，這段活動時間，學員將能習得各國的傳統舞蹈，相關資料可網上查詢。	Performance Preparation   表演準備
14:00- 15:50	Country Traditional Games (各國傳統遊戲) A country’s games are played by children and are always fun and interesting. The leaders will teach a few different games and then the students will play them           . 各國兒童所玩的遊戲都非常有趣好玩，各組組長將教導各組同學各國傳統遊戲並進行體驗活動。	Festival Celebration (節慶慶祝活動) Students will be taught about traditional ceremonies from the countries they are from. They will learn about the food eaten, activities done and clothes that are worn on these special occasions.         學生會學到各國傳統儀式。學生們將學到各國特殊場合或節日的飲食、活動及衣著。	Performance and Award Ceremony (表演與頒獎典禮) This is the time when all the groups come together and show what they have been working on over the past few days. The awards for the capture the flag winners will also be given.   這是各組展現團隊合作與3日所學的成果的時刻。國旗爭奪戰的優勝隊伍也會同時頒發。
16:00- 16:30	Writing (寫作) After each day the students will sit down for a quiet writing time where they can write their thoughts and feelings of the day. They will be guided by the leaders if they need inspiration.     在一天的活動之後，所有參與活動的同學將有一個寧靜的寫作時間，書寫他們一天參與活動的想法感覺，若他們需要靈感，組長們將會提供他們引導與協助。	Writing (寫作) After each day the students will sit down for a quiet writing time where they can write their thoughts and feelings of the day. They will be guided by the leaders if they need inspiration.     在一天的活動之後，所有參與活動的同學將有一個寧靜的寫作時間，書寫他們一天參與活動的想法感覺，若他們需要靈感，組長們將會提供他們引導與協助。	Writing (寫作) After the ceremony each student will go back to their classroom and write about the final day of the camp.
