【教務處Acdemic Affairs】

The Office of Acdemic Affairs

The Office of Acdemic Affairs is responsible for carrying out the educational administrative affairs of the school.  It comprises the Teaching Division, Admission Division, Equipment Division, Examination management Division and Research Division.  The objectives of the teaching affairs management are to enhance teaching quality, to explore students’ diverse talents, to improve the efficiency and efficacy of the teaching affair administation.

To arrange teaching hours and teachers’ teaching schedules.

To handle all the things about class transfers, substitution and make-up classes.

To sum up and apply for hourly and substitution fees.

To process after-school tutoring, remedial teaching and courses during vacations.

To examine the teaching schedule books.

To inspect students’ homework.

To conduct all kinds of acdemic-related competitions and exhibitions of teaching achievements.

To hold regular examinations in every subject.

To handle everything related to class patrols and instructional supervision.

Admission Division

To handle freshman enrollment, registraion, placement and student ID arrangement.

To process students’ affairs such as transfer, suspension, resumption,  drop-out.

To check and compile student status data.

To issue or reissue all kinds of documents, testimonials and certificates (student ID cards, graduation certificates, and transcripts).

To handle the registration, maintenance and transfer of student status.

To record students’ grades and issue transcripts.

To process the application for scholarships.

Equipment Division

To draft the rules of managing teaching equipment and its keeping and using procedures.

To draw up principle of the utilization of all the equipment and allogate it.

To draft items regarding the maintenance and repair of teaching equipment.

To process scientific education exhibitions.

To handle and process the evaluation, purchase and the management of textbooks.

To assist teachers in designing self-made teaching materials.

To process Intelligent Ironman Creativity Contest.

Examination Management Division

To handle and manage all kinds of examinations (sectional exams, review exams and mock exams).

To process make-up exams, make-up courses and independent-study counselling.

To undertake the registration of the multiple-enrolled Senior High School and College projects.

To draft the recruitment pamphlet amd the plan of examination affairs.

To assist in propagandizing all kinds of multiple emrollment projects.

To handle teacher screening-related affairs.

Research Division

 To conduct meetings for curriculum development, lesson plans of every subject, advanced studies and seminars of new courses for teachers, and many other projects concerning senior high school outline curricula.

To promote plans about teachers’ professional evaluation.

To plan and arrange the freshmen’s second foreign language courses.

To help process all kinds of acdemic-related competitions and exhibitions of teaching achievements.

To carry out and promote the functions of the Curriculum Development Committee and each domain’s study meetings.

The Office of Student Affairs

Where there are students, there are student affairs.  The principles of the management of student affairs are as follows:

1.  To allow students to participate in organizing and policy-making process.

2.  To strengthen students’ sense of responsibility and honor to Zhu-wei High School.

3.  To care for disadvantaged students.

4.  To cultivate students’ self-discipline.

5.  To fortify the power of moral education.

【輔導處Counseling Office】

Counseling Office

The objective of Counseling Office is to care students’ adaption to their lives and help them make their self-assessment, fit in their school lives and select their future employment or further studies.  Our responsibilities mainly includes:

1.  To establish the students’ data.

2.  To conduct various psychological or educational evaluations (intelligence test, aptitude test, etc.) for students.

3.  To promote and practice overall guidance and counseling, including individual counseling, group counseling and case conference.

4.  To plan and hold seminars on teachers’ counseling skills and knowledge.

5.  To advance parental education.

6.  To hold PTA meetings.

7.  To make individual educational plan (IEP) and courses for the students with disabilities.

8.  To integrate the faculty, parents and community resource and establish counseling and guidance network.

9.  To assist homeroom teachers in individual student counseling and handling students’ problems.

10. To transfer individual cases based on their special needs.

11. To handle other contingencies.

12. To instruct and guide the students taking part in Technical-Art Education programs.

General Affairs Office

Documentation Division

Safekeeping of the school seal.

To receive, distribute, draft, modify and register the documentations.

To record meeting minutes of administration, management and school affairs.

To make the documentation processing regulations.

To catalogue, sort, and send all current and backdated files.

To verify the approval procedures for official documents.

General Services Division

To complete the procurement affairs.

To plan on the construction and development of the whole school.

To maintain the school equipment and all public affairs.

To be in charge of property custody, accounting, tally, and write-off affairs.

To maintain the campus security.

To build up security investigation, fire and public accident insurance, and maintenance affairs.

Cashier Division

To Pay the salary and subsidy as well as the insurance fees. 

To certify the issuance of the loan and taxation and other payments.

To keep and distribute the cash invoice and valuable securities of the public treasury.

To be responsible for the payments receivable and payable, as well as the custodian payments.

To receive the tuition, fees for acdemic-related after-school tutoring,  extracurricular activities and for using the air-conditioner in the classroom.

To handle student affairs such as the issuance of scholarships, the charging and refund of tuition fees.

【圖書館Library】

Library

The vision of our library is providing a cozy reading environment, stimulating students’ desires for reading, offering an abundance of resources that enrich both teaching and learning, trying hard to broaden students’ horizons by holding various intercultural activities and making the place a wonderland of reading education, information technology education.

The director of the library is responsible for all library affairs. The library is composed of members from each subject, and they are responsible for library management. 

In order to fully integrate the teaching resources on campus, and to improve the services offered to students and the teaching faculty, the library has three divisions:

Reader Services Division is mainly in charge of offering readers services like borrowing and returning services, holding book fairs and library-related activities, managing library volunteer workers, and planning and promoting all kinds of intercultural activities.

Acquisition and Cataloguing Division is responsible for the acquisition, cataloguing and circulation of books and audiovisuals. This division is also responsible for the reference services, periodical management, online resource management and publishing Zhu-wei High School Academic Journal (Zhu Zhong Qing Yin).

Information and Media Division is responsible for promoting the integration of information technology with teaching; maintaining the administration system and the campus network.  This division is also in charge of promoting online database and education training.

Accounting Office

Overview:

Accounting Office makes the budget, accounting and statistics. It makes good use of the funds to create excellent budge performance.  The director is responsible for making a gerneral plan of the accounting office affair and implementing the inspection and examination of all the budge performance.

 

【人事室Personnel Office】

Personnel Office 

Overview:

Personnel Office is in charge of the personnel allocation, employment and promotion, payment, post retain, and personnel data management.  This office is also responsible for awards and punishment, assessment, attendance, training and continuing education, service medal, excellent senior teachers’ awards.  This office manages payment and welfare, life subsidy, retirement pension, insurance and activities as well.
